A low or high AMH result can raise a lot of questions. Its meaning depends on the clinical context.
Quantity is different from quality
AMH and antral follicle count are useful for estimating ovarian response during IVF. They are not direct tests of egg quality.
Read it alongside your history
Age, previous response to stimulation and other clinical information help a specialist interpret the result. The same number does not describe every person’s situation.
Ask a better question
Instead of asking whether one result means you can have a baby, ask what it changes about assessment, expectations or treatment planning. An ovarian reserve test is not a verdict on your future.
