MORE REASONS TO START A CONVERSATION

Your history matters.

Previous treatment or pregnancy loss

Bring records of unsuccessful transfers, miscarriages or previous cycles for an individual review. These experiences do not automatically mean PGT is appropriate.

Age and reproductive health

Consultation topics include ovarian reserve, PCOS, endometriosis and tubal factors. Assessment helps clarify which options merit discussion.

Inherited conditions

Bring genetic reports relating to conditions such as thalassaemia or chromosome rearrangements. A genetics consultation can clarify the question a test would need to answer.

Understand PGT-A, PGT-M and PGT-SR

SPECIALIST OPTIONS

Ask about suitability and availability.

Fertility preservation

DRC’s care information includes egg and sperm freezing. Ask about the collection process, storage arrangements, ongoing fees and requirements for future use.

Explore egg freezing
Male fertility and very limited sperm availability

Bring existing reports if testing has found no sperm or very few sperm. DRC’s brochure lists Cryopiece 2.0 single-sperm freezing; ask the laboratory to confirm current availability, suitability and limitations for your circumstances.

Explore male fertility
In vitro maturation (IVM)

DRC’s brochure lists laboratory maturation of immature eggs. Ask whether this option is appropriate, how it differs from the proposed IVF approach and what evidence supports its use in your circumstances.

Different family circumstances

Discuss your family circumstances privately with a consultant. Confirm eligibility, documentation and available treatment options before making travel arrangements.
